Gary Anthony grew up on the East Coast of Florida — where storms hit every year. He watched neighbors scramble for protection and saw firsthand what it meant to feel vulnerable when storm season arrived.
At 18, he went to work in construction with his uncle — which led him to start his own hurricane storm shutter business before ever setting foot in a college classroom. That foundation gave him something most people in this industry never get: real, hands-on experience from the ground up.
After college, Gary moved into commercial insurance, representing mid-to-large construction companies and working alongside contractors at every level and later moving into the insurance finance industry. He learned how the whole system works — from product sourcing to installation to claims — and saw where homeowners consistently got left behind.
When he founded UR Windows in 2023, the mission was clear: Tampa Bay needed a true window consultant, not just another dealer. Too many homeowners were being overcharged, underserved, and handed products that didn't fit their homes or meet their expectations. UR Windows was built to change that.

Outside of work, Gary stays active around Tampa Bay with his golden retriever and family. Direct, dependable, and genuinely invested — he's the same person in every room.
